Role Summary / Purpose

We are seeking an Engineer to join the Engine Power Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore. This role is responsible for supporting the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of diesel engine components and systems throughout the product development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will contribute to a range of engineering initiatives, including New Product Introduction (NPI), Recent Technology Introduction (NTI), productivity, cost optimization, and reliability improvement projects. Working in a global, cross-functional environment, the engineer will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, validation, and supplier teams to develop and implement robust engineering solutions that meet performance, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

This position requires a strong engineering foundation, effective problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-motivated,



and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team. Experience with CAD tools, engineering drawings, and product development processes is considered an advantage. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and validation of diesel engine components and subsystems to meet performance, reliability, cost, and quality objectives.
- Execute engineering activities including concept development, engineering calculations, material selection, DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and design verification.
- Develop and maintain component specifications, validation plans, engineering documentation, and design records.
