We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Wine Sommelier to help guests choose the right wines and create a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of wines, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Help guests select wines based on their preferences and food choices.
Recommend wine pairings with dishes.
Serve wine following proper service standards.
Manage the wine cellar and ensure wines are stored correctly.
Keep track of wine inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team.
Train restaurant staff on wine knowledge, service, and pairing.
Suggest new wines and help update the wine list.
Ensure responsible alcohol service and follow all safety guidelines.
Maintain high standards of guest service at all times.
Requirements
Experience as a Wine Sommelier or in a similar role in hospitality.
Good knowledge of wines, wine regions, grape varieties, and food pairing.
Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
Skilled appearance and positive attitude.
Wine certification is an added advantage.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
