Program Duration: 1-Year Trainee Period (Convertible to a full-time role based on performance)
Compensation: 3.5 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA)
Reporting to: Area / Cluster Manager – Bancassurance (Mentored directly by Zonal Leaders)
Role Purpose
To learn and assist in driving Life Insurance business through strategic partnerships with Emerging Bank channel partners of Kotak Life in an open architecture model. This role focuses on developing the skills to build robust relationships and deliver consistent business growth through effective sales management and partner engagement under expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Delivery
- Support the achievement of assigned sales targets (NOP, Revenue, case count, product mix) through partner bank branches.
- Assist in driving Life Insurance penetration within mapped bank branches.
- Focus on learning high-quality business acquisition and persistency.
2. Partner Relationship Management
- Assist in building and nurturing strong working relationships with key stakeholders at partner banks.
- Act as a supporting point of contact for the bank on insurance-related matters.
- Learn to align with partner bank priorities and identify growth opportunities.
3. Sales Enablement & Capability Building
- Shadow and co-facilitate regular training sessions for bank staff on life insurance products, sales pitches, and compliance.
- Accompany relationship managers/branch teams during customer meetings to observe and assist in driving closures.
4. Branch Activation & Engagement
- Help increase activation of mapped branches and track productivity per branch.
- Assist in planning and executing joint sales activities, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Ensure regular branch visits and participate in structured engagement with frontline teams.
5. Pipeline & Lead Management
