About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our construction projects. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry and be comfortable working closely with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and the head office to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete accounting records for construction projects.
- Record and reconcile all site expenses, vendor payments, and petty cash transactions.
- Process purchase bills, subcontractor invoices, and payment requests.
- Track material purchases, advances, and vendor outstanding balances.




- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and report cost variances.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for invoice verification and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of labour payments, contractor bills, and wage registers.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, and project-wise ledgers.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Support auditors by maintaining organised financial records.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.

Requirements
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, contracting, or infrastructure industry.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
