Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior GST Executive to independently handle complex GST litigation and compliance matters, including GST assessments, scrutiny proceedings, departmental appeals, and refund cases. The candidate will be responsible for representing the firm's clients before GST authorities, drafting replies and submissions, and ensuring end-to-end resolution of GST disputes and refund claims.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle GST assessment proceedings, including preparation and submission of responses to assessment notices.
- Manage GST scrutiny cases — analyze scrutiny notices, compile supporting documentation, and draft replies.
- Handle GST appeals before Appellate Authorities, including drafting grounds of appeal, submissions, and representing clients in appeal hearings.
- Prepare, file,



and follow up on GST refund applications (export refunds, inverted duty structure, excess cash ledger, etc.).
- Liaise with GST department officers on assessments, scrutiny, appeals, and refund matters.
- Draft replies to GST notices (SCNs, DRC-01, ASMT series, etc.) and departmental queries.
- Review and reconcile GSTR filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C) as required for litigation and refund support.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers and sales registers with GSTR-1/GSTR-3B where relevant to disputes.
- Verify eligibility and support Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims in assessment and refund matters.
- Maintain case trackers, records, and documentation for all ongoing assessment, scrutiny, appeal, and refund matters.
- Guide and mentor junior GST Executives on litigation and refund case handling.

Must have hands-on experience in GST Assessment, GST Scrutiny, GST Appeals, and GST Refund cases
