Role & responsibilities
- We are seeking a highly skilled senior engineering Purchase specializing in outsourcing of job.
- The candidate must have knowledge of Raw material codes. Candidate must possess knowledge of buying of HR/CR Sheet SS304, SS316, MS Sheet, Angle, Channel, SS Piping and SS fittings, mechanical items like Gear Box, Mechanical Seal, Gasket, Bearings, etc.
- The mechanical buyer typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of mechanical buying in an engineering company.
- The person responsible for outsourcing jobs from vendors.
- Must know calculation of manufacturing cost of components.
- Must have knowledge of calculation of machining, Turning, cost.
- Must have knowledge of reading and understanding component drawings.
- Must know the manufacturing processes like Fabrication, Machining, Turning, boring, coating etc.
- Responsible for releasing orders for Job work, Contractors, Services
- Must have good negotiation skills.
- Must have good communication skills




- Must have experience in the preparation of commercial documents like rate contracts and agreements.
- Working on SAP will also be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and circuit diagrams will be an added advantage.
- Co-operate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support.
- Responsible for releasing PO in time to vendors.
- In time right Decision making
