About the Role

Ganesh Enterprise is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee and streamline our raw material procurement, specifically focusing on Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) and related processing essentials. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of cashew quality testing, and established vendor relationships in the market. Since this role requires traveling to local markets, traders, and processing zones, having your own two-wheeler is compulsory.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Field Sourcing: Visit local markets, traders, and cold storages to source high-quality Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) at competitive prices.

Quality Inspection:



Conduct rigorous quality checks, including cutting tests, outturn calculations, and moisture analysis to ensure raw materials meet factory standards before purchasing.

Vendor Management: Maintain and build strong relationships with existing brokers, traders, and suppliers, while continuously onboarding reliable current vendors.

Price Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.

Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels closely to ensure continuous production without overstocking or stockouts.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with transport vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to the processing unit in Contai.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, quality reports, and supplier ledgers.
