Head of Scheduling Software (overall), with functional reporting to the respective Product Owners of the Scheduling or Slot Management product teams.

Role Purpose Key Responsibilities Purpose
To support the Scheduling and Slot Management product team in expanding and modernizing the product by contributing to the maintenance and development of specific product modules within a distributed engineering team.
Core Responsibilities
- Software design and implementation
- Development of one or more software components/modules and integration into the overall software architecture
- Participation in software development projects across multiple locations
- Module testing, including preparation of test cases
- Integration into larger subsystems, including integration testing
- Support project planning activities such as effort estimation, dependency identification, and task sequencing
- Create technical documentation and development guidelines based on established standards
- Implement architecture and coding quality guidelines
- Take ownership of assigned technical tasks and additional responsibilities as required
Candidate Profile Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Initial experience as a Software Developer working with service-oriented architectures
- Exposure to Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), or Feature-Driven Development (FDD)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Git/GitHub
- Java
- Linux operating systems
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Experience writing automated test cases (e.g., JUnit)
- Strong hands-on experience in UI development using ReactJS
- Positive communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
