Role Description
The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers across cultural and event-related projects. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking participation, and ensuring clear communication of responsibilities and timelines. The role involves developing and delivering basic volunteer training, providing ongoing guidance, and addressing questions or concerns to maintain a positive volunteer experience. The Coordinator will also collaborate with project leads to align volunteer activities with event and cultural program needs, and help promote volunteer opportunities through digital channels and community networks. Regular reporting on volunteer engagement and feedback will support continuous improvement of volunteer management practices.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to effectively organize, onboard, and support volunteers.




- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build trust, provide clear guidance, and maintain positive relationships with diverse volunteers and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach skills to promote volunteer opportunities and connect with relevant cultural, community, and educational networks.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and use digital tools for coordination (e.g., spreadsheets, project management and communication platforms).
- Experience with cultural projects, events, or nonprofit initiatives is beneficial, along with solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Spanish language skills and knowledge of Chile’s cultural sector are a plus.
