A Machine Learning (ML) Data Associate is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating data that is used to train, test, and improve machine learning and AI models. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to follow annotation guidelines accurately.

Machine Learning (ML) Data Associate Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, label, classify, and categorize images, text, audio, or video data according to project guidelines.
- Perform data entry, validation, and record maintenance activities.
- Enter and update data in Excel sheets and enrollment forms.
- Review and validate annotated data to ensure high accuracy and consistency.
- Perform image segmentation, object detection, and bounding box annotations where required.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on completed annotation tasks.
- Identify and report data quality issues, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project-specific annotation guidelines.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.




- Work closely with Team Leads, QA Analysts, and ML Engineers to resolve annotation-related queries.
- Continuously improve annotation quality based on feedback.

Required Skills
