Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SPID (Smart P&ID;) Administrator with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Octave SPID project setup and configuration, catalog and symbol customization. The ideal candidate will support engineering projects by ensuring efficient management, customization, and maintenance of the SPID environment.
- Creation of project hierarchy, template and symbols and new line types as per requirement.
- Implementation and Customization of Data dictionary manager, Options manager Format manager and Filter manager.
- Setup/customize Smart P&ID; (SPID) projects as per client/project requirements, including customization of symbology, report running and customization,
procedure writing and coordination.
- SPID Tool access management
- Create drawing templates as determined by Client Standards.
- Implementation and Customization of Reports like Pipeline, Equipment and instrument list as per project requirement
- Provide support for designers and engineers using SPID.
- Troubleshoot application and configuration issues.
- Assist in user training and preparation of documentation.
- Item tag configuration as per project requirements.
- Maintain daily project backups and trouble shooting.
- Coordination with Process and other engineering Leads to receive all necessary data for SPID PBS Setup and catalog customization.
- Interface/coordination with SI, S3D, SEL and SPF administrators.
