Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operational excellence of our AWS infrastructure as we migrate and scale our products in the cloud. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to build reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation of scalable, highly available systems on AWS
- Own production environments: uptime, reliability, performance, and cost optimization
- Design and enforce Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) across environments
- Build and standardize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Implement AWS-native PaaS solutions (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, API Gateway)
- Define and enforce monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Ensure strong security posture (IAM, network isolation, EDR integration, secrets management)




- Mentor mid/junior engineers and guide DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product and development teams to optimize cloud architecture

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (must-have, primary cloud)
- Deep knowledge of:
- EC2, VPC, VPC Endpoints, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch
- Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
- Serverless (Lambda, Api gateway)
- Subnets, Routing tables, ALB, CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch Logs Insights, AWS CloudFormation
- Expertise in Terraform/Terragrunt and CDKv2 (Typescript) (or similar IaC tools)
- Robust experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
- Strong Linux and networking expertise, along with extensive operational experience managing AWS environments.
- Experience in production incident management and RCA
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Site24x7, etc.)
