Job Summary:





The Site Engineer will support field supervision, installation monitoring, testing, commissioning, and operational verification of Smart Water Meter infrastructure and associated communication systems across Chennai City. The role includes coordination with contractors, quality monitoring, inspection, reporting, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines under the Independent Engineer consultancy framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Supervision & Monitoring:
- Supervise installation of:
- Smart water meters
- AMI/AMR communication devices
- Data transmission infrastructure
- Associated field instrumentation
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

2. Inspection & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct field inspections for:
- Meter installation quality
