Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Engineer with solid expertise in SolidWorks and CAD design, preferably within the valve or pump industry. The role involves designing, modifying, and reverse engineering mechanical components, while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop valves and related mechanical components using SolidWorks/CAD
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing
- Perform reverse engineering by analyzing physical components and recreating accurate designs
- Modify and enhance existing product designs based on technical and functional requirements
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards such as API, BS, EN, and IS
- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
- Prepare and maintain technical drawings, documentation,



and specifications
- Support troubleshooting and resolve design-related issues during production

Candidate Profile
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering (valve/pump industry preferred)
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD tools
- Experience in reverse engineering and component analysis
- Good understanding of valves, pumps, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, BS, EN, and IS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Skills
- Practical experience applying API, BS, EN, and IS standards in design and documentation
- Experience working closely with production/shop-floor teams
- Understanding of quality assurance plans (QAP) and documentation processes
