SWBI Architects is looking for a detail-oriented
BIM Modeler – MEPF
to join our BIM team. The role involves developing and maintaining accurate BIM models across all MEP disciplines, including
HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical Services
, while ensuring seamless coordination with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM workflows, and Revit modeling standards, with a passion for delivering coordinated, clash-free models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models for
HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical
services using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare coordinated LOD-based MEP models and construction documentation as per project requirements.
- Create and modify Revit families for MEP components as required.
- Perform model coordination and participate in clash detection and clash resolution using Navisworks or equivalent BIM coordination tools.
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure seamless model integration.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in
Architecture/Engineering
, or any relevant technical discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in BIM modeling for MEP services.
- Solid proficiency in
Autodesk Revit (MEP)
.
- Working knowledge of
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
.
- Knowledge of MEP construction drawings and installation practices will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.
