Role & responsibilities
- Understanding of different testing techniques.
- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings.
- Perform API testing and database validation when required.
- Maintain test documentation and generate test execution reports.
- Ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies, the QA lifecycle for white box, black box, functional, customer-oriented testing & QC/Testing will be preferred.




- Absolute understanding of the SDLC and STLC process.
- Automating using Selenium Web Driver and JAVA.
- Should have knowledge of Selenium Grid.
- Knowledge of GIT is a must.
- Should have knowledge of different frameworks and TESTNG.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Experience in testing web applications. Mobile application testing experience is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Understanding of the software development process.
- Good judgment skills.

Desirable:
- Experience working on the testing of web applications.
- Coordination with the development team to optimize the code for enhancing performance.
