- 1. Production & Quality
- Monitor and optimize raw mill operating parameters
- Check equipment conditions at shift start
- Identify abnormalities and initiate corrective actions
- Maintain logbook entries of process parameters
- Monitor and ensure product quality standards
- Escalate major breakdowns to PF/SH/HOD
- Execute corrective actions as instructed
- Coordinate with service departments for smooth operations
- Track shift-wise production & quality
- Prepare daily production reports & SAP entries
- Optimize specific power consumption
- Avoid idle running of equipment
- Improve operational efficiency
- Reduce breakdowns through early detection
- Control process costs within budget
- Support improvement initiatives with SH
- Increase output rate & productivity
- Conduct trend analysis & field observations
- Reduce abnormalities and recurring issues
- Identify and rectify leakages
- Conduct studies, analyze data & implement actions
- Ensure effective execution of shutdown & maintenance activities
- Inspect VRM internals, separators, dampers, etc.
- Coordinate trials post shutdown
- Manage materials & contractor coordination
- Execute PM work orders
- Ensure availability & trial of standby equipment
- Implement procedures for new equipment/processes
- Implement IMS and standard operating systems
- Monitor pollution control equipment (ESP, Bag Filters)
- Drive 5S and housekeeping practices
- Work on Kaizen, OPL, and improvement suggestions
- Ensure compliance during audits (internal/external)
- Track emissions & rectify unsafe/leakage points
- Participate in KFA/G
