Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to determine machining requirements.
Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
Select cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures necessary for machining operations.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning.
Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.




Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work setting.
Document all production activities, including setup sheets, tooling lists, and inspection reports.

Experience with multi-axis machining and advanced CNC programming techniques.

Knowledge of machining various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)

Proven experience as a VMC Operator with proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines.
