Job Description The Program Director will be responsible for facilitating the development and execution of complex, multiyear program execution and sustainment for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and program management skills, and prior experience pursuing and leading similar work. S/he should be adept at managing a team of program management professionals, providing guidance and direction to the Program Management department. The following describes the expectations:
- Responsible for management of key projects or for multiple, related projects / programs in the Business Unit s strategy.
- Front ends with the Customer/Stakeholder on ALL aspects relating to the Program/s managed.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources.
- Manages key customer programs along with PL responsibility.
- Drives Customer Centricity for both internal and external customers to provide excellent customer satisfaction and exceed customer expectations.




- Leads and implements programs that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures.
- Leads and manages the development of specific products through the various stages of the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Plans the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes
- Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback, assess performance, drive Kaizen, and resolve complex problems.
- Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
- Ensure that program operations and activities are in adherence to legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
