- Looking at all the current automation in the bank and going through it system by system within each business group.
- Talk to the business and understand how individual business processes currently work
- ID areas for improvement and come up with new design suggestions
- Work with business to solidify a technical solution.
- You would do the dev/technical work based on the agreed upon solution
- give the company an idea of new solutions/alternatives to replace some of the old tools/jobs that should/could be automated.
- Changing control M--> Python, lambda expressions or ansible. currently dont have an ansible person.
Switching code from code M to Python. Particular looking for python, AWS (must), and ansible is good.
Lamba expressions
And EC2 instances
maintaining control M jobs, a lot of this is the main part which the bank is functioning. They want some python people to provide automation ideas/functions to replace the Control M which the bank is heavily reliant on over the next few years.
They work in Agile/Scrum method so want individuals who are open minded and can work well in team environment.
