Main tasks of this function:
- The Engineer is responsible for the development of the systems and components required for the bogies in the area of Steel Springs, Air Springs,
Rubber Parts, Damper, Bearings from requirements clarification to validation and approval, as well as until the end of the warranty period.
- Design of bogie components and systems to ensure compliance with the defined requirements within the scope of responsibility taking into account the Indian procurement market und the needs of Siemens plant Aurangabad
- Compliance with legal, internal, and project-specific requirements (technical offer, specifications, requirement documents, etc.).
- Responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality, including reporting, for all EN projects within his/her area of responsibility
- Creation of drawings, calculations, technical specifications, descriptions, material master data, and component bills of materials within the respective area of responsibility
