About the Prospect

The IT Support Executive plays a vital role in enabling the UWS Bangalore academic and administrative operations by ensuring the reliable performance of technology infrastructure, digital learning platforms, and end-user systems. Serving as the primary point of contact for technical support, the post-holder delivers prompt, professional, and user-focused assistance to faculty, students, and administrative staff across the Bangalore campus. The role also ensures seamless integration and connectivity with the University of the West of Scotlands digital ecosystem in Glasgow, supporting a consistent and efficient technology experience across both institutions.

What You Will Do

Infrastructure & Hardware Support
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware, AV equipment, and video conferencing systems.
- Manage network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and IT asset inventory.
- Ensure examination technology is fully operational and secure.

Software, Applications & Cloud Services
- Administer LMS, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and academic software.




- Manage software licensing, updates, cybersecurity, and endpoint protection.
- Support the institutional website, intranet, and Student Information System (SIS).

User Support & Digital Enablement
- Provide first- and second-line IT support and resolve technical issues.
- Deliver IT training, user guides, and digital skills workshops.
- Support hybrid/online learning technologies and collaborate with UWS IT teams to ensure seamless digital services.

What We Are Looking For

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Google, Cisco (CCNA/CCST), ITIL 4, or AWS are highly desirable.

Experience
- Up to 5 years of IT support experience in an educational institution, corporate office, or technology services environment in India.
