Job Summary

The Purchase Executive EPC will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services required for solar EPC projects. The role involves coordinating with vendors, project teams, stores, logistics, and finance to ensure timely procurement, cost optimization, and uninterrupted project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Procure EPC materials such as Solar Modules, Inverters, Structure, Cables, Junction Boxes, SCBs, ACDB/DCDB, Transformers, RMU, HT/LT Panels, Earthing Material, Lightning Arresters, Hardware, and BOS items.
- Float RFQs/RFPs and obtain quotations from approved vendors.
- Compare quotations and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs)



after obtaining management approvals.
- Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Project, Store, Logistics, and Finance departments.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing.
- Ensure procurement complies with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement accordingly.
- Track pending purchase orders and prepare procurement status reports.
- Resolve vendor-related issues such as shortages, delays, and quality concerns.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, GRNs, and purchase records.
- Support cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
