Position Description Krishikalpa Foundation is building a solid startup ecosystem in the Kalyana Karnataka region, focusing on agriculture, rural innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The Startup Incubation Associate will play a key role in supporting incubation and pre-incubation programs, working closely with startup founders, and contributing to ecosystem development. The role involves coordinating programs, engaging with mentors and partners, and ensuring smooth execution of incubation activities.

This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in working at the intersection of startups, agriculture, and rural innovation, and want to contribute to building a regional startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Startup Program Management Support

the planning and execution of incubation and pre-incubation programs. Coordinate activities such as startup challenges, bootcamps, workshops, and mentoring sessions, ensuring timely and effective delivery.



Track startup progress and maintain structured program documentation.

Startup Engagement

Work closely with startup founders to understand their business models, challenges, and growth needs. Provide support in areas such as business model refinement, market linkages, and ecosystem connections. Facilitate regular interactions between startups, mentors, and industry stakeholders.

Ecosystem Development

Build and maintain relationships with startups, entrepreneurs, incubators, universities, and innovation networks. Identify and onboard potential startups for incubation programs. Support outreach initiatives including startup events, roadshows, and ecosystem engagement activities.

Mentor and Partner Coordination

Coordinate with mentors, domain experts, and industry professionals to organize mentoring sessions. Maintain updated databases of mentors and startups. Support partnership development
