Role Description
The Barista at EM Patisserie is a full-time, on-site role located in the Pune Division, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and chocolate-based drinks, in line with brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, crafting specialty beverages, assisting with basic food and dessert preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation and customer area. The Barista greets guests, takes orders, processes payments, and provides attentive customer service that reflects EM Patisserie’s commitment to a warm and welcoming experience. This role also involves restocking supplies, supporting product displays,



and collaborating with the patisserie team during busy periods and special events. The Barista is expected to follow hygiene and safety guidelines and uphold consistent quality in every beverage and service interaction.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication, to create a welcoming and professional guest experience.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including experience with espresso machines, beverage preparation, and basic coffee and chocolate drink crafting.
- Candidates should possess reliability and time-management abilities, with capacity to work full time shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the ability to learn product offerings and make recommendations to guests.
- Prior experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred
