At LOKL, we're on a mission to bring every neighbourhood store online.
We're building a hyperlocal commerce platform that helps local retailers grow in the digital economy by giving them their own digital storefront, helping them reach more customers, and enabling fast local deliveries.
Bhilai is our first pilot city, and we're looking for founding team members who are excited to build something from the ground up. If you'd rather create impact than just watch from the sidelines, this role is for you.
What You'll Do ?
You'll be the face of LOKL on the ground and play a key role in launching our pilot.
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Visit local stores across Bhilai and introduce merchants to LOKL.
- Explain how LOKL helps businesses grow and answer merchant questions.
- Complete merchant onboarding and collect all required business information.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with business owners.
Merchant Success
- Set up merchants' digital storefronts.
- Help merchants upload and organise their product catalog for the very first time.
- Train merchants on using the LOKL Merchant App, including inventory management, order processing, payments, and customer support.
- Ensure every merchant is fully ready before they receive their first order.
Growth & Operations
- Track merchant onboarding and activation.
- Gather feedback from merchants to improve the product and onboarding experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve merchant engagement and growth.
- Work closely with the Founders to make the Bhilai launch a success.
Who We're Looking For ?
- Final-year student, recent graduate or someone looking to kick-start a career in startups.
- Confident communicator who enjoys meeting recent people.
- Comfortable with field work and visiting merchants across Bhil
