Job Summary

The PET-CT Report Typist is responsible for accurately transcribing, formatting, proofreading, and finalizing PET-CT diagnostic reports as dictated by Nuclear Medicine Physicians. The role ensures timely report generation, maintains patient confidentiality, and supports productive workflow within the PET-CT department.

Key Responsibilities
- Type PET-CT diagnostic reports from physician dictation with high accuracy.
- Format, proofread, and verify reports before submission for consultant review.
- Correct medical terminology, grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Upload finalized reports into the Hospital Information System (HIS/RIS/PACS).
- Coordinate with Nuclear Medicine Physicians for report corrections and amendments.




- Ensure reports are completed and released within the defined turnaround time.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with hospital policies.
- Print, scan, archive, and dispatch reports as required.
- Maintain daily records of completed reports and pending cases.
- Assist in departmental documentation and administrative activities.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification in Medical Transcription or Medical Typing is preferred.
