Role & responsibilities

The Account Head will be responsible for leading the Accounts & Finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, taxation, payroll accounting, and cash flow management. The role requires solid leadership, analytical skills, and experience in managing financial operations for large-scale service organizations, preferably in healthcare or emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare MIS reports and present financial insights to management.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.

Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Labour Laws.
- Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.




- Monitor departmental budgets and analyze variances.
- Implement cost optimization initiatives without affecting operational efficiency.

Payroll & Vendor Management
- Supervise payroll accounting and salary reconciliations.
- Monitor vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and receivables.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

Banking & Treasury
- Manage banking relationships and fund utilization.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee treasury operations.
- Monitor loan accounts, bank guarantees, and financial instruments.

Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts team.
- Allocate work and review team performance.
- Ensure timely completion of financial activities.
