Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy (FEED & Detailed Design)
Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing engineering consultancy opportunities in the
Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas sector
, focusing on
FEED (Front End Engineering Design)
and
Detailed Engineering
services across
Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (CMEI)
disciplines.
The role requires strong industry connections, understanding of EPC workflows, and the ability to convert leads into long-term consultancy contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
· Identify and pursue current business opportunities in
Upstream (Exploration & Production)
and
Midstream (Pipelines, Terminals, Storage)
sectors
· Develop relationships with
Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, and PMC consultants
· Generate leads through
LinkedIn, industry networks, conferences, and direct outreach
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
2. Proposal & Tender Management
· Lead preparation of
EOI, RFQ, RFP, and tender submissions
· Coordinate with internal engineering teams for
technical proposals (FEED & Detailed Design)
· Develop
commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and negotiation plans
· Participate in
client presentations and techno-commercial discussions
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy
· Track market trends in
Oil & Gas projects (Upstream & Midstream)
· Identify upcoming projects, investments, and bidding opportunities
· Analyze competitors and position company services strategically
· Support management in defining
market entry strategies (India / USA / Middle East)
4. Key Account Management
· Maintain relationships with
existing clients and key stakeholders
· Ensure repeat business and long-term framework agreements
· Act as a single point of contact for client communication
