is a full-stack Space & Defence startup building next-generation Reusable Rockets, advanced space infrastructure and dual-use technologies.
We are looking for a Flight Dynamics and Controls Engineer to design, model, and validate the control systems that keep our vehicles stable and flightworthy across every phase of their mission profile - from low-altitude hop tests to high-altitude, high dynamic-pressure flight.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Simulation frameworks that accurately capture the vehicle's dynamic response in 6 Degrees of Freedom (6-DOF).
- Test frameworks, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups and validation procedures for seamless integration of control algorithms.
- Comprehensive reports analyzing stability and system response under both nominal and off-nominal conditions.
- Control strategies for the various phases of the VTVL flight mission.
- Long-term architecture planning for flight control during high-altitude, high energetic-pressure phases.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Flight Dynamics Analysis
Ability to analyze flight dynamics to support control system design.
Control Systems Design
Ability to design control systems for vehicle stability and performance.
System Integration
Ability to integrate control systems with other vehicle systems for optimal performance.
Performance Optimization
Ability to optimize vehicle performance through analysis and testing.
Simulation and Testing
Ability to use simulation tools to model and test flight mechanics and dynamics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline, with exposure to flight dynamics, kinematics, or system modeling.
- Strong foundation in classical mechanics, rigid body motion, and vehicle dynamics.
- Good understanding of control systems design, feedback systems, and vehicle stability.
- Hands-on experience with simulation and modeling tools
