Role Overview

You will be part of the core Risk team, contributing to underwriting strategy, portfolio analytics, and credit policy for retail lending products (Personal Loans / LAMF). This role is suited for someone who combines solid data skills with a solid grasp of lending fundamentals and can translate analysis into actionable risk decisions.

What You'll Do

Underwriting Strategy
- Contribute to the design and refinement of underwriting rules and credit policies for Personal Loans and LAMF
- Evaluate creditworthiness using bureau data and alternate data sources
- Balance approval rates against risk thresholds and business objectives

Portfolio Analytics & Monitoring
- Track and report on key portfolio metrics: disbursals, approval rates, delinquency, collection roll rates, DPD buckets, and NPAs
- Perform vintage and cohort analyses to detect early risk signals and portfolio trends
- Translate data findings into actionable policy recommendations

Portfolio Actions




- Support initiatives around limit management — identifying candidates for limit increases or decreases based on behavioral and risk signals
- Assist in building frameworks for proactive portfolio interventions

Data & Decisioning
- Write SQL/Python queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
- Provide data support for analysis and ad-hoc investigations
- Build and maintain reports and monitoring dashboards

What We're Looking For

*Must-Have*
- 2–4 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or lending analytics
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
- Prior exposure to unsecured retail lending products — Personal Loans and/or Credit Cards
- Demonstrated contribution to at least one of: underwriting strategy, portfolio analytics, or portfolio actions (limit management)
- Solid understanding of bureau data (CIBIL / Experian) and core risk metrics — DPD, roll rates, vintage curves, PD

- Experience with scorecard dev
