Role & responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and onboard recent suppliers through competitive bidding and supplier assessment.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers.

Manage the procurement cycle from purchase requisition to purchase order and delivery.

Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to avoid operational disruptions.

Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, value engineering, specification optimization, and strategic sourcing.

Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Quality, Stores, and Projects.

Analyze procurement data, market trends, and commodity price movements.

Manage procurement budgets and prepare MIS reports, procurement dashboards, and savings reports.

Experience Min 5 years in Procurement in reputed firms .
