Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join our team The Individual performing this role will debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. You will develop, modify, and execute software test plans. As well as analyze and write test standards and procedures. In this role you will maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. You will consult with development engineers in resolution of problems as well as provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. You will ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
Responsibilities
Software Quality Lead/Manager will be part of MSP organization and will be responsible to:
Provide leadership support in building and growing the Quality mindset across the Organization
Thorough understanding of product/process quality domain – Quality Planning & improvement, Control, developing quality framework aligning to Business priorities.
Should be a Team player having excellent communication skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, interpersonal / facilitation skills
Ability to work in ambiguity and diverse Teams & Groups to derive value out of projects and priorities set by the executive leadership – need to conduct expectation setting & quality improvement exercise with each Teams & Groups
Should have hands-on experience in driving industry accepted best practices related to Quality mindfulness events, Process Improvement - Code review practices, Defect Prevention, Unit / Developer Test, Process Automation / Quality Dashboards etc.
