Senior Executive EXIM (Export Import Documentation & Operations)

About the Role

Support import and export operations through timely documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain import/export shipping documents.
Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping lines for smooth shipment execution.
Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, Bills of Entry (BOE), and other shipping documents for accuracy.
Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure timely processing of import/export documentation.
Prepare and manage DGFT-related documentation and support compliance requirements.
Generate and utilize ICEGATE and RoDTEP scrips as per applicable regulations.
Verify applicability of anti-dumping duties and maintain related documentation.
Coordinate submission of documents to banks, customs authorities, and other regulatory agencies.
Maintain shipment records, documentation, and MIS reports with accuracy.




Ensure proper filing, record management, and data entry for all import/export transactions.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Planning, Finance, Stores, and Logistics to ensure timely shipment execution.
Support the Functional Manager in day-to-day EXIM operations and process improvements.
Perform other EXIM-related activities assigned by the Functional Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Total years’ experience: 5 to 8 years of experience.

Required Skills

Knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures.
Understanding of customs regulations, DGFT, and foreign trade policies.
Familiarity with Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills, Letter of Credit (LC), and bank documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
