Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Model-Based Development (MBD) Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in multibody dynamics (MBD) simulation and vehicle/system dynamics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in MSC ADAMS or Altair MotionSolve for developing, analyzing, and validating mechanical systems through simulation.This role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to build simulation models, perform dynamic analyses, and support product development by optimizing mechanical performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate multibody dynamic models using MSC ADAMS or Altair MotionSolve.
Perform dynamic simulations for mechanical systems, assemblies, and vehicle components.
Analyze simulation results and recommend design improvements based on system performance.
Support virtual validation and optimization of products during the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with design, CAE, and product engineering teams to understand simulation requirements.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations of simulation findings.
Troubleshoot simulation models and improve model accuracy and computational efficiency.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) or Multibody Dynamics (MBD).
Strong hands-on experience with MSC ADAMS or Altair MotionSolve.
Good understanding of Multibody Dynamics, rigid body mechanics, and kinematics.
Experience in modeling mechanical systems and interpreting simulation results.
Knowledge of CAD integration with simulation tools.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive or industrial equipment simulation.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink is an added advantage.
Familiarity with scripting (Python/Tcl) for simulation automation is desirable.
Exposure to FEA/CAE workflows is a plus.
