Position Summary

HCA Healthcare is looking for an experienced and cutting-edge Data Modeler to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data products on Google Cloud. In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights by creating robust architectures that integrate seamlessly into our enterprise ecosystem.

The Data Modeler will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with Data Product Owners to understand product requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and design solutions that meet operational and analytical needs.

This position requires a deep understanding of the architecture of business data source systems, their structures, communication protocols, and interfaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mastery of data analysis, logical data modeling, and the ability to identify opportunities for data reuse and transformation. You will design data architectures that address gaps, optimize performance,



and enforce enterprise standards in cybersecurity, governance, and compliance.

As a key contributor to HCA’s data strategy, you will also develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and evolving technology trends. By integrating advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities, you will help HCA Healthcare maximize the value of its data to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Major Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Logical Modeling

Architect and oversee enterprise-wide data modeling initiatives

Lead the development of scalable data models for enterprise applications

Develop and enforce best practices for schema evolution and data interoperability

Define data modeling standards and frameworks for the organization

Work with stakeholders to implement data governance and security controls
