Job Title:
System Support (Production) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant System Support qualified to empower our operational quality systems, reinforce production standards, and assist in leading shift operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between quality assurance and floor operations—coaching operators, verifying critical line parameters, and ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, WIs, and safety protocols to maintain optimum efficiency and zero defect output. Key Responsibilities • Quality & System Enforcement: Guarantee operator compliance with SOPs, WIs, and hygiene standards. Ensure effective execution of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and QEHS policies. • Verification & Inspection: Execute critical 'Four Eyes' checks on web inspection reports, roll segregation, label checking, width protocols, and line parameters. Oversee line clearance and real-time rejection verification. • Operational Leadership: Supervise startup, changeover, and shutdown activities according to the production plan.
Support the Shift Supervisor with shift reports and act as a brief reliever for operators or supervisors when necessary. • Coaching & Troubleshooting: Train and coach operators on technical procedures and assist them in troubleshooting line breakdowns, coordinating with Maintenance and Process teams as needed. • Continuous Improvement: Provide actionable feedback to management regarding operational issues, and proactively suggest improvements in safety, waste reduction, and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or a bachelor's degree in science, technology, or engineering. • Experience: 5–7 years of plant operating experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years specifically as a Line Operator in a Nonwoven manufacturing company. • Skills: Proven supervisory capabilities, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience/training in Nonwovens plant operations.
