We are looking for a skilled and experienced Specialist - NDT Blades Centralized
Evaluation Team PAUT/UT blade evaluation activities. The role involves Shift
lead evaluation operations, ensuring data accuracy, nonconformities, and
supporting continuous quality improvement within blade manufacturing and
inspection processes and providing 24/7 technical support to all factories
Key Responsibilities
• Minimum 5 years in NDT/UT.
• Solid knowledge of wind turbine blade manufacturing processes.
• Ability to set up, operate, and interpret NDT (UT) equipment and relevant
analysis software.
• Handle evaluation task assignments per shift and ensure proper workflow.
• Monitor ongoing evaluations and data flow for efficiency and accuracy.
• Cross-verify evaluation data and ensure quality compliance.
• Approve evaluation results prior to final submission.
• Manage NDT NC (Nonconformity) handling and follow-up actions.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects and inspection failures.
• Monitor quality trends through Power BI dashboards and reports.
Competencies & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production or
equivalent).
• Valid ASNT UT (Ultrasonic Inspection) level 2 certificate
• Strong understanding of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) processes and methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
• Experience with composite materials (wind turbine blades) is highly preferred.
• Methodological knowledge in quality assurance and process improvement.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work across multiple plants and environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional
coordination.
• Assertive and professional in dealing with suppliers and external
stakeholders.
