Salary: $25.88-$28.96 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

What You’ll Do
As an Equipment Operator, you will play a key role within the Public Works department.
You will be responsible for safely operating various types of municipal equipment for diverse construction and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate various types of municipal equipment.
Must perform winter road maintenance tasks such as plowing, sanding and salting when needed.
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks using appropriate mechanisms to safely perform tasks.
Perform routine maintenance and assist with seasonal preparation on relevant equipment as required.
Accurately maintain daily equipment usage records.
Maintain adequate cleanliness of equipment.
Safely perform general labour tasks as needed.
Adhere to all housekeeping procedures and report any suspected issues with equipment.
Responsible to understand, support and adhere to all Municipal safety policies and procedures. Furthermore, must adhere to all Ministry of Transportation regulations.
