JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Controls Engineer III is responsible for guiding the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex automation systems across projects. This role serves as the technical authority for Controls Engineering, ensuring scalable, compliant and high-quality solutions which integrate seamlessly with upstream and downstream MHE systems (conveyors, AS/RS, robotics, sortation, and associated industrial automation technologies), including HMIs, WES/WCS platforms, and customer host interfaces. The Program Lead drives cross functional alignment, mentors engineers, establishes standards and best practices,



and ensures predictable, productive execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering qualifications.
- 5+ years PLC programming experience (Rockwell preferred; Siemens/others a plus).
- Strong understanding of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profinet, etc.).
- Experience with conveyor and MHE control systems, safety PLCs, and machine automation.
