As a Software Engineer, you’ll help build and operate platforms that power how Microsoft does business - growing your engineering craft while working on high-impact problems at global scale. You will design, build, and operate software that helps teams launch and manage products across Microsoft. Working closely with more experienced engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will translate customer and business needs into reliable, secure, and maintainable engineering solutions.
In this role, you will grow your engineering craft - writing clean,



extensible code; participating in code and design reviews; and learning to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agentic coding workflows, GenAI-based code review and test generation) in a disciplined, production-grade way while taking responsibility for the quality of your AI-generated changes and applying Responsible AI practices. You will use debugging tools, tests, logs, and telemetry to help flag and mitigate issues, contribute to deployment automation and live-site operations, and uphold Microsoft standards of security, privacy, and accessibility - developing your skills with guidance from more experienced colleagues and a growth mindset.
