To develop and enhance mission-critical C++ software components within the SDV ecosystem by ensuring performance, safety, maintainability, and alignment with long-term platform strategy.
Job Description:
The Senior C++ Engineer - SDV will develop and maintain core SDV software components, contributing to scalable and robust vehicle software platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance C++ components for SDV platforms
- Work on OTA/FOTA enablement, middleware, and system services
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment
- Debug complex issues across Linux-based embedded systems
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields (e.g., Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science) with 6+ years of professional experience.
- Robust proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17)
- Experience with Linux system programming
- Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, J1939, Ethernet
- Proficiency in debugging (using GDB) and performance optimization of embedded Linux–based distributed systems
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Understanding of SDV and automotive software concepts is a plus
Nice to Have:
- AUTOSAR Adaptive, SOME/IP, DDS
- Automotive Ethernet
- Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP, SOVD) optionally with practical exposure
- Exposure to Functional Safety (e.g., ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity practices (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, CRA)
