The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team within EY. Part of the GDS GCO Enablement team in India, the role will involve working with legal/Global General Counsel’s Office (GCO) attorneys, and support EY’s business on vendor contracts. You will provide legal support to the business and become a trusted adviser of stakeholders (often at senior leadership level). You will be expected to assess and understand how risks can be best managed and mitigated.



You will also be managing a team of legal professionals and would be expected to coach and guide the team members to enable them to efficiently deliver on their goals.

Your responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, finalising and advising on procurement contracts (for EY and its global network member firms) and shall include:

IT contracts for multiple EY divisions and variety of technologies (such as AI, robotics, analytics), including:
Software License contracts, Hosted software/hosted services agreements; External Data Agreement; IT Services agreements; Software support agreements; SLAs

Excellent knowledge of negotiating technology contracts plus hands-on experience in complex transactions, preferably from an in-house team of an IT company
Providing business and legal advice and guidance to stakeholders and end users regarding potential issues stemming from new and existing contracts.
Working with internal stakeholders to develop strategies to address issues identified.
