Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services involving collaboration with other functions,



encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at
supplier manufacturing sites.
- Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
- Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.
- Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
- Drive and support to sourcing for current component /sub-assembly development either from new supplier or existing suppliers in line to PPAP process adherence and new supplier selection process adherence.
- Performs audits and uses Quality data analytics from all parts of the sup-pliers to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local operations, its suppliers, and customers.
