What a typical day looks like
Analytics & Development
* Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau (complex
calculations, LODs, performance tuning).
* Develop and manage MicroStrategy (MSTR) reports, documents, and dashboards.
* Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions with high
performance and usability.
* Ensure data accuracy, validation, and UAT support across dashboards and
reports.
Snowflake & SQL Development
* Develop optimized SQL queries and data models in Snowflake.
* Build and maintain database objects (tables, views, stored procedures).
* Perform query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
* Support data integration and ETL processes for analytics platforms.
Automation & AI Initiatives
* Drive automation use cases across reporting and data pipelines.
* Design and implement AI-based solutions including:
* SQL-based chatbots / conversational analytics.
* Generative AI use cases for reporting and insights.
* Work on semantic models, natural language querying, and AI-driven insights.
Project Governance & Documentation
* Ensure end-to-end documentation for all dashboards, reports, and
enhancements.
* Maintain BRDs, technical design documents, and deployment artefacts.
* Enforce adherence to dashboard deployment checklists, performance
documentation, and validation standards.
