Role & responsibilities
- Prepare detailed design and manufacturing drawings for control valves and manual valves.
- Develop 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Perform engineering calculations for valve sizing, strength, and design validation.
- Conduct CFD and FEA analysis to evaluate product performance and optimize designs.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), assembly, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Review customer specifications, datasheets, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Application Engineering teams for design execution.
- Modify and update existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Ensure designs comply with API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, and other applicable standards.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.




- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Maintain engineering documents, drawing revisions, and design records.
- Participate in current product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support to internal departments and customers whenever required.

Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of control valves and manual valve design.
- Good understanding of valve components, materials, manufacturing processes, and testing.
- Knowledge of engineering calculations, GD&T;, and international valve standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
