Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will drive sales growth, lead customer acquisition, and support new product development within the plastic injection Molding domain. The role demands strong techno-commercial expertise, an understanding of costing, and hands-on experience in localization programs. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop opportunities, build relationships, and convert customer requirements into profitable business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the plastic injection Molding sector.
- Lead customer interactions, manage inquiries, and provide technical and commercial support.
- Collaborate with internal teams on NPD activities, from concept to production readiness.
- Prepare detailed cost estimations, quotations, and pricing proposals.




- Drive sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Implement and support localization initiatives for customer programs.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and manage key accounts.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to project timelines.
- Participate in technical discussions, feasibility studies, and value engineering activities.
Required Skills Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Marketing, Business Development, NPD, and Techno-Commercial roles within plastic injection Molding.
- Robust understanding of costing, tooling concepts, Plastics and processing.
- Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
