Fund Accounting Operations

Role Description

This role involves handling the finance and accounts function of the firm which includes statutory compliance, timely and accurate accounting/book-keeping, managing vendor payments, receipts, and cash flows, coordinating with auditors/vendors, and providing critical MIS to senior management for both PMS & Domestic AIF CAT III side of business. The candidate is required to follow the policies and suggest control and other processes to further strengthen the function.

Core Responsibilities
- Preparation of Daily MIS Reports.
- Daily Stock and Bank Reconciliations.
- Posting Accounting entries in Miles / Wealth Spectrum.
- Co-ordinating with Custody Teams for trade instructions.
- Reviewing Fees calculations and Commission to Distributor.
- Reconciliation of all the ledgers
- Reviewing Custody charges bill and give the debit instruction to custody
- Handling fund / stock transfer / redemption requests of client portfolios

- Proficient at MS-Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good communication and drafting skills

- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

Qualification/Experience
- Commerce Graduate or equivalent degree/ Master s degree (finance-related preferred)
- 3 to 6 years of work experience with a portfolio management service firm or Domestic AIF firm
- Expertise in Wealth Spectrum Software
