We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist / Lead to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for US payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliant, accurate, and efficient payroll delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position offers exposure to complex multi-state payroll, global governance, advanced system operations, and leadership opportunities.
The Lead will additionally review and validate pre-payroll inputs, analyze payroll outputs, administer post-payroll activities, mentor junior specialists, and ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs. This role requires night shift support with rotational weekly offs and is based out of our Chennai office.

Payroll Tax Analyst Level 3
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Tax Analyst with strong experience in US Payroll Tax and multi-state payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll tax processing reconciliations
- Prepare/review Federal, State Local tax filings (941, 940, W-2, W-2C)
- Handle tax notices, amendments compliance deadlines
- Support year-end payroll tax activities
- Drive process improvements stakeholder coordination
What We re Looking For:
4+ years of Payroll / Payroll Tax experience
Robust knowledge of US payroll tax regulations
Experience in multi-state payroll environment
Hands-on with ADP, Workday or similar payroll tools
Strong Excel analytical skills
