Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Intern to join the Claims team at Pazcare. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and processing insurance claims while ensuring timely coordination with insurers, clients, and internal teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end claims process and is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in insurance operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Processing:
- Assist in managing the end-to-end insurance claims process for health, group medical, and other employee benefit policies.
- Collect, verify, and organize claim-related documents received from clients.
- Ensure claims are submitted accurately and within the prescribed timelines.
- Track claim status and maintain regular follow-ups with insurers and internal stakeholders.

Customer Assistance:
- Respond to customer queries related to claim procedures, required documentation, and claim status through calls, emails,



and other communication channels.
- Guide customers through the claims process to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Provide timely updates and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of claims, customer interactions, and supporting documents.
- Update claim information in the CRM and internal systems.
- Prepare periodic reports on claim volumes, turnaround times, pending cases, and resolutions.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

Coordination:
- Work closely with insurance partners, hospitals, clients, and internal teams to facilitate timely claim settlements.
- Coordinate with the Customer Support and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Escalate complex or high-priority cases to senior team members when necessary.
